Daughter asked me to set her alarm thirty minutes earlier than usual.
“So I can sleep in.”
“When the alarm goes off, I can shut it off and know I have 30 more minutes to sleep.”
“But wouldn’t you rather just sleep those 30 minutes without being woken up?”
“No. I like the feeling of knowing I can go back to sleep.”
Whatever it takes, I guess.

Hmm… I like morning naps, too, but how does Daughter know when the 30 minutes are up? Personally, I wake up after any sleep at all without the slightest clue what time it is. (I’ve even been known to disbelieve the light from the window.) I hope that might help, Rocky.
